pain on lower left side

I had a partial hysterectomy with removal of uterus only in july2010. For about three weeks now a throbing cramp comes and goes some times radiates to upper thigh. after intercourse I cramp. but will go away with motrin .  I have had vag itch going on due to meds frome a uti I bought over the counter cream . still did not take care of it . I went to the ob for the cramping and itch . He said it was yeast and gave diflucan . As for the cramping he said wait to see if it goes away like i might be obvilating since i still have overies . Has anyone had simular symtoms due to a cyst . I am going to call the ob today.

Hi, I am reading your post and remember that prior to my hysterectomy I had several UTI's and was only treated for that before they decided to order the vaginal u/s that found my uterus to be abnormal.  I would continue to explain to your ob gyn every symptom.  What I thougt was simple scar tissue pain was a complex cyst which is not good.  It will have to be removed this tuesday.  I do have good news and that is the CA 125 came out negative but I am still nervous because of the type of cyst that is now giving me all of this pain.  I really hope you will be ok.  Please keep us posted.  Take care and listen to lots of music and stay strong.

hello thanks for your post i am so sorry you are going thru this . you would think the pain would have ended so we can go on with our lives . I do have my tubes and overies and had the partial bcause of fibroids that were twisted and grown out of my uterus . I called and have a ultasound scheduled today so hopfully i will get answers. I have had uti problems and been to the urinogist last time in april with the symtoms of a uti culter should no bacteria . It kind of feels like the kidney area on both sides so that is my next step if don't get a result from the ob.

Hi, I had a hysterectomy (removal of all tubes, left ovary and uterus) Oct 2010. They found I was loaded with endometriosis, removed several fibroids, and various cysts. No cancer found.  I, like yourself, had lower left groin pain that radiated to my butt so I made an appt thinking scar tissue.  They immediately did a vaginal u/s in the office and confirmed a 5 cm complex cyst.  She wasn't sure if the endometriosis is part of the equation but I now have to have emergency surgery on Tues of this month to remove my right ovary.  What upset's me the most is that the nurse pratitioner used a dx code of malignancy for my lab work (ca125) before my surgery.  I have not been able to sleep, drink, nor eat because of this.  Any comments?

Do you have endo or do you suspect that you do?

The pain could generate from anything from scar tissue, cysts, or endo.
