You're welcome, but like I said keep in mind an ultrasound cannot rule out endo. Mine were fine and yet because of my syptoms my doctor still chose to do a laparoscopy and sure enough it was everywhere including my right ureter. He also had to remove my appendix it was so huge and full of endo. good luck and I hope you get the answers you need.

Thanks achilles2. I agree with your second paragraphs feelings about which one. That's why I posted to see what people's thoughts and experiences have been. I think this is more of a "rule out endo" kind of thing, because GYN things it is related to known history of IBS.
I have my ultrasounds done at my doctor's office. My reproductive endocrinologist is amazing and his ultrasound tech does them and then he reads them. (Also endo does not usually show up on ultrasounds, only cysts do). The only way to truly diagnoses endometriosis is through a laparoscopy. If you think you have endometriosis find a good reproductive endocrinologist, endometiosis is their specialty. You can find a good one in your area by contacting the endometriosis association their website is http://www.endometriosisassn.org/
As far as which one, if the ob/gyn is good a reading and doing ultrasounds I would go with him (it may even be cheeper) because that is his area of expertise. A radiologist looks at more than just transvaginal ultrasounds. But then again a radiologist is specialized in reading imaging studies. I think both have their pro's and con's .
Good luck,
