How to get your dog to be a service animal...

Good Afternoon,

My husband has had two seizures while at home in bed. Each time the latest addition to our family (our pup Missy) has alerted me by barking continuously until I wake up right before he has it. This to me is something that I feel has been helpful to insure that I am alert and ready to get him on his side and place pillows between him and the wall. My question is how I do I get her to be a service dog for him?
