Best advice for an active 17 year old student? (epstein barr virus since 05/16)

17 year old male, 6 ft 2, 80kg.
I've always been very busy, swimming multiple times a week, working a few days a week, on top of school work and exams. I have been 'ill' since the start of may (2 weeks before the start of my a.s level exams) and not been right since. I have post viral fatigue and am waiting on a referal to the hospital in November 2016.
Despite being ill, I continued to work over summer and just about kept up with school work at the end of term, however I have been unable to properly swim, only doing about 250m at a very slow pace (having been a club swimmer for 10 years & probably able to swim all day!). I have swim once/twice a week, sometimes only doing a 100m, before getting tired and getting out.
As I was unaware I had tested positive for the EBVirus in june and only found out at the start of september (when i went back to the doctors), so over summer I didn't get too much rest, with having 2 jobs and going to a few festivals, and partying.
I've always had a good diet and been fit and healthy, since knowing i've had the virus i have barely been out drinking and was wondering what effects drinking has and whats best to drink/if it's worth drinking at all!
I also would like to know weather 'marijuana' would have any 'medicinal' use? Or if there was any alternative treatments/therapies.
I've tried taking paracetamol and ibuprofen, for my aching legs, which ache all the time and can be quite painful. They have had pretty much no impact on me and seem to be waste of time.
I have had stomach pains recently, that have lasted for a few days and yesterday i had a real bad headache and nearly threw up. The pains make me feel really hungry, but after food i still have them.
I would say that I have bad sleep a few days a week, waking up in the middle of the night and sometimes not been able to get back to sleep. I wake up and go to bed with my legs aching and been tired. Sometimes I have a sleep when I come home from school and don't have enough energy to do school work.

Basically, what to do and what not do.
Thanks
