Is there a correlation between the Epstein-Barr virus and spinocerebellar ataxia?

I first contracted the Epstein-Barr virus 22 years ago, while I was attending University. I had a very recognizable case of mononucleosis. I have recently been diagnosed with spinocerebellar ataxia, and wonder if there is any correlation between the two. I am curious because it might affect my prognosis or treatment s.
