Do Viagra, Cialis lose their efficacy?

I have taken Viagra before.  And during the past 1.5 years, I have taken Cialis.
On average about once a week.  Sometimes for a few days in a stretch.

I find it working quite well.

However, I recently (in the past 2 weeks) found that my erection (after taking Cialis)
isn't as good as before.

I'm concerned that Cialis is losing its efficacy.  Has there been any research done on
this?  Do I need higher dosage?  Or should I reduce the frequency of taking them to
preserve its efficacy?

Anyone has similar experience, or maybe not?

Thanks

When I first started taking Viagra it worked excellently even if I was nervous. Now it only works if I'm completely relaxed. Any ideas why?

Everyone is different and reactions to these drugs vary a lot. Some guys prefer Viagra, others prefer Cialis or Levitra. I suggest you try all three brands and see which one is best for you.

If its losing its effectiveness you may be developing blood flow problems. A urologist can tell with a Doppler test.

There are studies that show the long term efficacy of these drugs. I'm not an expert, but I don't think they just stop working like that. I've been using Cialis for over a year with excellent results. And there are ways to improve your results:

a) Always take these drugs on an empty stomach

b) There are studies that show that vitamin E can increase the efficacy of these drugs

c) PDE-5 inhibitors are very effective but they only act locally and don't increase libido; if you're feeling depressed, anxious, etc. Viagra probably won't work. Viagra and Cialis are mere erection facilitators, not erection initiators

d) Cialis takes a long time to work, I always take it at least 3 hours before sex

e) I always take Cialis with Vigamed (oral phentolamine), another ED drug; both drugs work sinergistically. Vigamed is not available in the US but you can order it online: vasomaxclinic.com

I hope this helps. Good luck!
