Erectile Disfuntion

Hello,

My question is....I was started on 10mg of Lexapro a few weeks ago.  I am now having trouble getting an erection and having and having and orgasm.  It started out with not reaching orgasm and now to the point of no erection.  I see on the net that this will pass once my body gets immune to the Lexapro.  Has anyone else had this experience?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Ginger I will.  I will be going back in a couple of weeks.  From what I gather on the internet, this is a common side effect.

Thanks

My husband takes 20 mg lexapro for a couple of yrs now but hasn't experienced any of the side effects you have mentioned. Is there a different antidepressant you could try. I know in the warning/side effects it mentions something about potentially causing sexual side effects. I'm sorry this is happening but I would discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist.
Good luck to you
