Penile injury

I'm a 36 year old male. I experienced a penile injury during intercourse roughly 6 years ago. The pain wasn't unbearable, and I didn't have signs of a penile fracture. I went to the ER out of caution, but there was no swelling, pain was minimal, and there was no blood in my urine. Shortly after I began to experience a lack of sensation, and trouble getting and maintaining an erection. A urologist suggested it was all mental, since I was still getting morning erections. However, things have continued to get worse. I realize that the damage is not reversible at this point. I'm just curious if anyone has experienced something similar. At some point, I accepted that my sex life was forever changed. However, I get extreme anxiety when I think about where this "ends".

Couple of questions.  Have you seen a urologist?  I'd consider that if you have not.  However, mental situations leading to ED aren't uncommon and therapy can help.  Have you ever explored that?
