erection fades when I need it

Hello,

I am hoping to find out what is causing my erection to fade. Here's the situation:

I'm at 21 year old guy in a monogamous relationship of 3 months. It's my first kissing, sex, etc, and we first had sex 3 weeks ago.  Our sex works ok 1/2 of the time just fine: I go for about 1-5 minutes and then have an amazing orgasm. I assume that's within the normal range for my experience level, and I'll get more in tune with my body. It's so new and amazing.

But the other 1/2 of the time, despite getting a raging erection during foreplay, it goes away before I am able to penetrate, and doesn't come back with stimulation (except oral.) That's pretty tough on my girlfriend, and disappoints us both. I just want to love her!

One thing that's unusual about me: I haven't ever masturbated. I've tried a few times, but been unable to reach orgasm. But by touching myself, I easily give myself an erection any time (except when I want one really bad to love my girlfriend!) I just can't set myself off without my girl. I also had plenty of wet dreams. So, it could be something in my head? or something hormonal? or some kind of injury?

Any advice? or suggestions?

Hi Scott, Lets try and take thing one at a time, so have the time your ok and the other have not, have you had any thoughts why, could be stress, anxiety of whats about to happen, a problem with us guys is sometimes we think ahaed or not concentrating on your g/f, and away goes an erection.
You need to learn to masturbate, its like a training program for men and boys, its a way of teaching your p***s what you want it to do, if your having trouble with that google dobson and ross on there you will find all the answers you need on masturbating and sex, when you start getting to know your tool better, try some edging, its an exercise that will educate your p***s to last a bit longer through foreplay and sexual intercourse, for thsis google pegym and on there just look for the beginners page on edging ok so far.
Hope the info helps.
Good Luck

It sounds like lack of practice.  Masturbation can teach control or it can teach bad habits, depending on how it's done, from what I hear.  It is not unusual that each erection is different and each orgasm is a bit different.  You might want to take L-arginine to increase your drive and confidence.  Also increase exercise.  Running will really clear out your vascular system and prime the pump.
