Nutrition for fitness

Hi, i work out everyday. I am in good health and i eat healthy. Do i still need to take nutritional/health supplements? Does our food not supply all the necessary nutrients?

Today foods are mostly processed and many of the nutrients are lost.  If you eat processed or pre-prepared foods you may not be getting the vitamins your body requires.  You can try several things.  You can try eating fresh "natural" foods that needs to be prepared or cooked at the time you eat.  You can try juicing fresh fruits and veggies thereby consuming fewer calories, but getting more nutrients per ounce (a very tasty way to go), I like this because I really hate broccoli, but it is a wonderful veggie for vitamins.  I can add it to other veggies I like and get the benefits without the taste. Finally, you can supplement your diet with commercial vitamins.  It has been shown that the "natural" way of eating nutrients is the best,but if you don't like the bother of cooking or juicing, then a good multi-vitamin is the way to go. Check with your doctor about brands and dosages before buying one over the counter.
