Tailbone hurts after using weight machines

I started working out on weight machines for my legs and after a while noticed that my tailbone area  hurt when I sat on the machines.  Now I find that whenever I sit on any hard chair for a length of time that I have pain when I stand up.  I look like an old lady getting up!  I don't experience pain any other time, just after I've sat for a while on a hard chair or something.  Any advice?

I think this is very normal; all you have to do is to have a soft Cochin with you and use it whenever you do any sitting exercises.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

Get an X-ray done and rule out any complications.

Coccydynia is tail bone pain, give some rest to your body from exercise and use hot compress and pain killers to decrease the pain and inflammation.

Use supportive cushions when you are sitting to give your relief.

If the pain continues then follow up with an orthopedician.

Take care!
