Do you know how to move those bones? Healthy adults need to build endurance and accelerate their heart rate at least 10 minutes at a time. You can go for a brisk fall walk, jog, bike, swim and/or participate in your favorite exercise video. Mix it up and try different levels of activity, moderate or vigorous.
Try exercising for 30 minutes a day, 3-5 days a week. You can perform this in 10-minute increments. To determine a moderate level of effort, you can still talk and carry on a conversation. A vigorous level of effort will make it difficult to carry on a conversation.
