Hello!

I would suggest your neurologist to refer you to a physiotherapist.

Ask the physiotherapist to work out with you on your left body and take his/her help for a period of 3-6 months to see some improvement.

Regular sustained effort may show some improvement.

Take care!

Hello!

No one can give you the exact time for recovery and your recovery will be gradual as your neurons take up the lost function.

Keep doing regular exercises and follow up with a neurologist. You should ask your neurologist to refer you to the best therapist available in your area for hemiplegia.

Take care!

Thank for your advise. Currently I do go hospital to seek physiotherapist help. I think should call physiotherapist as the department called rehabilitation department. However I think still not very worth, as still maintain as before. Honestly I feel a bit worse than before now. Just curious do you know Malaysia any place famous for this practise? Currently I go Sunway hospital to practise.

Besides I did go fitness center to seek trainer to help. Just some exercise I heard people ask me not need to try as my body not fixed the exercise. Do you have any suggestion to do?

Thank you very much

Hi, as you suffered hemiplegia, the treatment after hospitalization is mainly physiotherapy based exercises to train the adjacent neurons to the injury site. The neurons which died during injury will not work again. The only thing is to teach the surrounding nerve cells to takeover the function of lost neurons. This can only be achieved by reverse training that is starting from the muscle end. You may try different physiotherapy exercises and even you can change the physiotherapist after some time to see if that helps. It's a lengthy procedure and sometimes the recovery is not hundred percent. All the best.
