I am a 25 yr old woman, I am not mom, but I was a preschool teacher for a while and I found excersize can be fun for everyone. With your girls, I'd get them involved in a cardio activity like bike riding or skating or riding on a scooter and then have the do that as you jog or walk quickly beside them. They are having fun, you can go for an hour or so, and everyone will be ready for bed/nap every day you do it.
I love carrying 3 lb hand weight when I walk, and I twist my torso like Im wringing water (or fat) out. My arms are getting a workout, I'm doing cardio and my abs are feeling it.
Good luck!
Thanks for the advice I do walk regularly and obviously being a mum I rarely sit down just wanted something more challenging without hurting today I feel as though I was hit by a small bus due to insanity yesterday my partner says that means it's working but I'm now out if action for the day
It sounds like you have a lot of positive things going right now. Don't set yourself up for burnout. When it comes to exercise, start out slow, it avoids injuries. When I began, I started walking. I walked for 45 minutes. Distance increased with getting healthier. Being a mom, I'm sure there are time constraints, so pick an exercise commitment and stick to it. Go slow and aheslthy you is what everyone needs. Be good to yourself. Yours truly a 56 yr dad who wants to be there for his wife and kids. Obie249
