We could recommend specific exercises, but those two areas can be reached with probably over a thousand different ones, both with weights and without. But they do have to be done correctly to hit the right areas and so you don't injure yourself. As these are easy areas to hit, if you are a member of a gym any personal trainer can teach you hundreds of exercises that work on these areas and will be able to see what your current fitness level is so they can tailor it to your ability to do them and not injure yourself. If you go on You Tube, my guess is you'll find a ton of demonstrations of exercises for these two areas as well, though you won't be as assured of doing them correctly as someone showing you in person and watching you. But as Gym recently said, personal trainers aren't the best source of correct form sometimes, so pick one who does seem to know what they're doing. I also told someone else, a great thigh exercise is also a cardio exercise, which is bicycling. Do it a lot especially on hills and you'll get strong thighs.
