losing the extra skin after c-sections?

I've had 2 c-sections just shy of 2 years apart (5 days shy). I've been working on loosing and toning the left over "baby bump" but I have skin that kinda hangs over both scars. It looks fine if Im laying down because Im stretched out an no one else even sees it but myself and my husband... but I still want it gone. Any advice from those that have experienced/overcome this same problem? I'm 5 months post op now.

Thanks for the advice. Ive had the ok to exercise since 16weeks post, been losing weight, that extra bit of skin is my main problem. I didnt think about a collagen cream though. I have read about "body wraps" too. People say they work and Ive looked up homemade ones, but I just dont see the point. I get it that you sweat, but thats really just water weight. I dont see how effective it would be. Might try a homemade one at night while I sleep. They say to use cellulite cream? Anyone ever used or made a homemade wrap before?

Apply moisturizer to your abdominal skin daily,(alcohol-free) avoid the C-section scar until it is healed. Try Over the counter creams with collagen it could help increase the skin's elasticity as it reduces in size.
Check your sodium intake! read the labels. Avoid all caffeine it acts as a diuretic and drink at least 8 oz of water every day. No simple carbs. Eat whole grains, fruits, veg. and protein. Ask your doctor when you can start  aerobic exercise and strength-training. When you get the OK then do the following! abdominal and core exercises. Start slow with a simple bridge exercise. Lie on the floor and raise your knees, keeping your feet flat on the floor, Lift your hips towards the ceiling slowly and return to the start position. Do four to eight repetitions, increase the amount as it gets easy. Add crunches, side bends and sit ups.
