I knew someone who had the same problem and they saw a chiropractor who I think said it was a pinched nerve. A chiropractor might be able to help relieve the pain but you maight want to find a new way of execising your arms like bench presses instead.
Really informative post……Every muscle in our body is interconnected and your neck pain could be a combination of factors in the body causing the body to be out of balance. Your best results will be achieved when you bring your body in balance and support your spine's health with proper eating habits. Thanks for sharing.
a classic exercise called the mechanical change pushup. You start in the hardest pushup position (hands under shoulders), and as you become fatigued, you adjust your hand-width—making the exercise a little easier—so that you can extend your set. The upshot: You do more work with your chest, triceps, and shoulders. In fact, it's guaranteed to make your muscles pumped.
Hi, there might be the case that you're not doing the push-ups properly or if you are doing it in a proper manner then your neck muscles are not in good condition. Sometimes you are focusing on an exercise and another group of muscles get stretched unintentionally. That might be the case with you. I advise you to give some rest and ice treatment to your neck muscles for some days or even weeks. In the meantime you can do other chest exercises like benchpress or butterfly to substitute push ups. In the later exercises the neck remains supported. Regards.
