roller coaster weight

I am 57 and have had a weight problem my whole life.  I finally got my weight under control  2 years ago, and was down below 150 lbs.  Then I retired.  Everything I had worked for went down the tubes.  I never realized how physical my job had been.  Now for the 50th time I am eating right and exercising. 16 miles on a stationary bike, 1 hour lifting weights at the gym. and walking everyday.  I eat less then 1,100 calories of lean meat, veggies and simple carbs.  I lost 25 pounds the first 2 months of water and fast weight loss.  Now after 2 more months nothing.  I am 210 ponds, and nothing is happening, Nothing!  I still have 60 ponds to go.  Can anyone give me suggestions.  My biggest meal is breakfast.  A protein shake and plain cereal.  I keep a log of everything I eat. Please help me.

Yes a weight of 150 pounds for 5'11" would fall under BMI. Good going!

Change the treadmill to elliptical after some days. In the treadmill you change the inclination and etc and try to keep yourself occupied and interested and do 45 mins to 60 mins of cardio to lose around 500 cals everyday in this weight losing spree.

Eat healthy  and continue your exercise in a normal way even after you achieve your desired weight and Best of luck!

Take care.

Thank you for your advice.  I will start today following it.  By the way I forgot to mention that I was 5'11".  That's why 150 is a good goal for me.  I'm off to the Gym. for 1 hour on the tread mill, then I'll do 1/2 hour on the weight machine.  Thank you again

Diet is not an issue, rather you should increase it a little around to 1500 calories by discussing with a dietician.
You have to analyse and calculate the weight losing exercises you are doing. As you are so determined you can start with 600 calories afresh and go upto 1000 calories per day of  losing spree.
Take enough rest and also proper sleep and do not exert yourself.
You will lose weight do not get desperate and now you have stabilised a bit and try different other forms of cardio. Do sustained cardio for 1 hour per day on tread mill, elliptical , cross trainer or of your choice. Control the intensity and do for sustained period everyday. Take care!
