Hello!

You are just 12 years and you are already more than 5 feet.

Concentrate on: Proper protein rich diet + calcium rich food as in milk, meat and eggs along with sports, with stretching exercises like skipping, swimming, basketball etc.

Other factors are not under your control: hormones and genes.

Take care!

I was the same age when i got my period, and i grew up to be to be 5'9 by the time i was 15. I also drank a lot of milk when i was young, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

It's a young age to get your menstrual cycles usually, but i don't think it will effect your height, if that's what you are asking. It never did for me.

Other than that, no one can guess what height you will grow to. You are only 12 so you still have a lot of growing time.

Just, whatever you do, never try to lose weight fast, it can actually shrink your bones if you do it unhealthily. I ended up shrinking an inch in height when i was 19 because i lost weight too fast. So now i am 5'8 forever. I also lost my boobs :) I used to have nice full ones, but when i lost weight, they have never come back and i am now 21.

Your bones need food sustenance, lots of milk, and protein. So eat healthy, be active and don't worry about it.

Its okay to have worries of growth, just got to make the right check list. Just look at parent or relatives, are they tall? Genetics are a key element on this subject. Women are set to grow until they are 22. Keep active, take your vitamins & eat veggies, all that talk my mom put me thru about it I wish i had listened to her-ha ha. Stretch often, your body still goes through growth spurts so help it out a little by going a little further at stretching in gym class. Most importantly, even though you just begun your menstual cycles, running, exercising & lots of water during that time will help the PMS along on a smoother less painful road. Follow this and you'll be right on your way to being taller than I am. I'm 4'11...still ^_^ but i have hope LOL Thank you for your time.
