Interresting questions. Personally, I usually give into my cravings.
I guess it depends what you're craving and how many times a day,
week you're craving it. I read somewhere that your cravings are there
for a reason. In this same article, I read that this is your body's way
of telling you that you're missing a certain vitamin etc. Also in that same
iarticle, the author states that the more you ignore your craving, the
stronger it gets. I would have to agree. Usually, I just give into the craving
but I then only eat a small amount of whatever I'm craving. That seems
to work for me. A few weeks ago, I had a craving for tomatoes, a really
strong craving. We bought some vine tomatoes , I had a toasted tomato
sandwich and I felt much better. I've had cravings for everything. It
runs the gamet. Chocolate, pickles, potato chips. No these are not the
cravings of a pregant woman. I really believe your body lets you know
what it needs. The trick is to listen to your body and satisfy your craving.
