Always opt for brown rice, and that includes brown aromatic varieties like basmati and jasmine. Get even more exotic with red and black rice, both of which are considered whole grains and are high in antioxidants.
it won't make you fat. it's about when you eat it and how long your body has to use it up or if it stores it because you don't need it or you go to sleep. brown rice, however, has fewer calories so I would stick with that option instead.
