Can an optician tell if you've had a vitreous detachment (PVD) in an eye exam?

I'm going for an eye exam tomorrow and I'm gonna mention that I think I may have a PVD, which I believe to be brought on by weightlifting straining and the subsequent pressure feeling in the eyes. Would they be able to see if I have had a PVD?

The reason for this is I have suddenly started noticing a lot of floaters.

Which brings me on to a side question: is it possible to have a completely clear vitreous without any imperfections or does everyone have eye floaters to some degree but just done see them? The reason I ask this is because all of my friends have no idea what a floater is. Why are my eyes so different?

I've never needed glasses and have been told I've got good vision in past exams.

Thanks
