A lot of dry spots on cornea

I see star bursting day and night and can dry spots on cornea cause this?? I went to a lasik eye surgeon and he say i have a lot of dry spots on the cornea, how long will it take to heal and can it cause starburst,, THank u

How long does it take for the cornea to recover if I use lubricant eye drops every day?? I've used it for 4 days now and no improvement...

First and formost you can have "dry eyes" which more precisely is called "tears dysfunction Syndrome" without being able to feel it and some people with this problem their eyes water all the time. There is another form that develops after lasik. As I said we will not be able to give you your cause.  See your lasik surgeon.

THere are many causes of starburst effect; dry eyes-dry spots are one. You will need to get more specific information from your lasik surgeon.
