AMPEE

I was diagnosed with AMPEE in January of 2,006. I have all of my vision, but I was left with scars (this is what I was told).  So, whatever i'm looking at is blocked by the faded scars...it's almost like i'm looking at a circular form of lights...it's very faint, but it's so annoying and I don't know what to do? I also have pressure in my head that doesn't seem to go away. it's driving me nuts...the pressure is in my head from the time i wake up to the time i go to bed. I have tried taking sinus medication, but it doesn't seem to work...I have had an MRI done and had blood tests that have all come back normal....any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP!

Joan,

Thanks for the response. I have made an appointment with a neurologist and I hope that everything goes well. I will keep you updated. Thanks again :)

APMPPE is well described in eMedicine of WebMD. I do not know if your feeling of pressure in your head is related to this or not. I would definitely see a neurologist and bring your eye records wioth you if possible.
