I am Atul Rautela from India(21 years).I was searching about ASPARTAME on net and i cam to know that it may be a cause for eye disorders and eye floaters.I have been taking protein supplements for muscle building that may be having the same chemical (ASPARTAME).Since 1.5 years i have been suffering from eye floaters.I think may be this is the cause for them.
I would be highly obliged if anybody could do more research on this (through net, books, asking doctors etc.,anything possible) and tell me.
                        Thank You.

I was trying to drink more water & added flavor crystals that had aspartame. My Dr said I had high blood pressure that I never had before. He said it was "natural." I disagreed. Then I researched Aspartame and found high blood pressure was one of the many side effects. I stopped ingesting any aspartame -- it is in many food products. No more high blood pressure. Now I have floaters I never had before - maybe from the aspartame. I would suggest you not ingest ANY aspartame. Real cane sugar is safe. All artificial sweeteners are not good for you. Also any GMO foods. Always research any drugs your doctor may prescribe. Some of the side effects are worse than the original health problem.
