Accupuncture

Has anyone every tried accupuncture for diplopia?  It was suggested to me but I don't know much about holistic medicine.  I'm worried that if the needle(s) touched the wrong nerve, my other eye could go out and then I'd have both eyes crossed at the same time. UGH!

Hello Dr. Shen,

Thank you for your sound advice regarding accupuncture.  Perhaps I'll remain patient for a few more weeks in hope that my eye will recover.

Have a great day!

Joan

This thread is commented by MDs trained in allopathic medicine, therefore I doubt any of us have personal experience nor would support correcting diplopia with acupuncture with regards to the eye.  Unless there are any actual clinical evidence published with regards to success with acupuncture in correcting diplopia, I would approach at your own risk.
