What activities should highly myopic individuals avoid to reduce the risk of retinal attachment? Is bike riding and weightlifting safe?
I was hoping to re-open this thread really quick, but should mountain biking be avoided for those with high myopia?

yes those two are okay. Violent contact sports offer some risk. Racquet sports offer a lot of risk unless proper eye protection is worn. Violent jerking of the head from amusement rises is very bad. Have a yearly dialated exam by an Eye MD
