Alternative treatment for amblyopia child
Hi! I just join this community.
My daughter (3y8m) was just diagnosed with amblyopia on both eyes. Her doctor prescribed -5D eyeglasses for her. Is there any alternative treatment(s) to help her building the strength of her eyes remembering that both eyes are weak?

thanks for your reply. We went to get 2nd opinion and this time, the doctor didn't say anything about lazy eyes. Is it possible that the eyes get lazy due to high myopia? The lens prescription is also different. The first doctor didn't prescribe for cylindrical lens, but the 2nd doctor did. The power is only -0.5. Since we had ordered glasses without cylindrical power, can my daughter still wear this? Or should we change the lenses?
Can you comment about acupuncture treatment for my daughter's case?
