Any reviews or new ReStor+2.5D iol?

Has anyone here experienced, or knows any patient or doctor who experienced the new ReStor+2.5D ? Supposedly it is a version with much better VA results than previous versions, comparable to a monofocal but still with benefits of multifocal. However this is mostly based on information related with Alcon.
I am considering getting this iol either as the distance IOL in mini-monovision or in a mixed-multifocal approach. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Here is a lengthy, quite recent study regarding the performance of this lens, based on patients' responses, from the NIH website:

It's peculiar how I can't find any case of this lens being implanted especially as it is supposed to be a real alternative for seekers of higher VA. Is it just because it's that new? what do you think?

I do not have any experience with that lens.  The 3.0 works well.
