Are there helpful tips for glare after cataract & Yag procedures?

Is there any help for glare problems?   I had cataract surgery both eyes 2 yrs. ago to correct acute glare problem.  My vision was not blurry & relatively good for my age.  The glare problem was resolved after surgery for about a year with improved vision 20/20 in eye w/o astigmatism.    Then the glare started coming back & last October had YAG.  It has not helped.  Sunglasses do not really work (I wear them when I turn lights on).  I recently had ptosis surgery one eye & will follow with the other later in 2009.  I do not want to have my IOL (Crystalens) replaced.  Would anti-reflective lenses help?    So far my eye surgeon says wear sunglasses.  I do but have to change them frequently re:  amount of light in room or outside.  Polarized helps.

This discussion is related to Crystalens problems.

Thanks for the replies, I would just like to add my vision was good before cataract & better after...the surgery & the YAG surgery were done to alleviate glare so probably not the glasses RX.  I will look into other causes you mentioned with another doctor later in year I am recovering from ptosis lift.  Also the Zeiss individual.

The IOL can move out of position, the membrane can cloud backover, there can be new problems like corneal or macular disease. The glasses RX can change.

Nothing dramatic: anti-reflect helps ;some but others don't like it. There is a new type of aspheric abberation reducing glasses, extra cost different brands one is "Zeiss Individual".
