Are these eye floaters

So the weirdest things has happened. I was heading down stairs to wash dishes and then I went to the sink in order to do it. As I was washing them, I started to see these dark lines on the right side of my vision when I looked at the sink. After experiencing this, I tested myself. I moved a little bit faraway from the sink and I saw the black lines even more and when I moved closer, they weren’t there anymore. I don’t know if these are floaters are not but can someone please tell me what the heck is happening to my vision.

Short answer is no, no one, not even me as an ophthalmologist can tell you what caused this.  That is not typical of floaters. If the problem reoccurs you need to see an eye MD ophthalmologist.

Thank you responding. I also would want to tell you it only occurs when I look at the kitchen sink
Then don't look at the kitchen sink.
I think it is God telling you that doing dishes is extremely bad for you.  I myself have tried to avoid it for years!
We took our automatic dishwasher out a few years ago and converted that space into another cabinet. We generate too few dishes to really justify running a dishwasher and don't really mind keeping up with them by hand washing.
My uneducated guess is the lighting or background near your sink causes you to see whatever it is you are seeing.  I get a line once in awhile when outside in bright sunlight when working on yard.  Usually when I am working on or near something reflective.  I blink a couple times and it goes away.  Seems like an afterimage type thing.  In any event my doc found nothing.  You would feel better getting it checked out.
