Atrophic Retinal hole - Barrage Laser Treatement

Dear Sir,

I have been diagnosed with Atrophic Retinal hole in right eye and temporal self sealed holes with overlying gliosis in the left eye.

The doctor advised me for barrage laser treatement for both the eyes which will not take more than 15 mins.

Please suggest me if this the right treatement and is their any risk involved. Also will the barrage laser treatement would be required on regular basis.

Regards,
Atul11

1. I cannot tell you anything because I can't look in your eyes. If you have misgivings get a second opinion.
2. No treatment, even laser, is risk free. Discuss the risks with your surgeon.
3. Sometimes more treatment is needed. Usually though one treatment is enough.
