Azasite

Is this helpful with severe blepheritis. I am starting it and trying to be hopeful. I was on zymar and then zylet which I could not tolerate then on oral tetracycline that made it worse. I went to a new eye doc who put me on azasite for 14 days. I am very sensitive which he knows but says it is very tolerable and effective by most. Any thoughts?

Azasite is very helpful BUT blepharitis is a chronic disease like oily skin and oily hair. One speaks of CONTROL rather than CURE. Cleaning the lids is the most important factor.

Azasite is the new new thing for blepharitis. Also use TheraTears SteriLid to clean your lids and be sure you are tested and treated for dry eyes if necessary as blepharitis and dry eyes are frequent fellow travelors.
