Blepharitis

I was referred to a website addressing Blepharitis/dry eyes.  The people (not doctors) suggested that they got, not a cure for Blepharitis, but some relief from its symtoms, by rubbing castor oil on their eye lids.  Some people even put castor oil into their eyes.  Is this really something that might help or would the castor oil do more damage than good?

No don't use castor oil. Use the search feature and archives to read about control of blepharitis, which is a chronic condition. Cardinal features are freqquent cleaning of lids with medicated lid cleaner available without prescription (occusoft foam eyelid cleaner or TheraTears SteriLip foam eyelid cleaner) and if big problem a very good new antibiotic drop called Azasite.
