pseudo tumor

my mother has a pseudo tumor in the left eye. She has previously had a UNC Chapel Hill Dr. do a biopsy and has had radiation treatment to no avail. She doesn't have health insurance so the Dr. won't continue with any treatment and are baffled as to the cause and solution. So we (I) are lookin' for a Dr. that would be willin' to use her as a ginea pig to figure out the problem. The tumor is startin' to grow and now extends out to her glasses. The vision in her eye has also become blurry and waters constantly. I'm pleading with the eye care specialist out there who would be willin' to take on this challenge!!!!! Thank You in advance for your time on this matter concerning my mother!!! Signed Carin' and Concerned daughter!!!!  :}

There is much we don't know about orbital inflammatory pseudo-tumor. Please review this reference:

You would do well to contact your state's department of social service and look for places she might receive care, program's she is eligible for, state and city hospitals that care for the indigent.

Nana   Cut this link and paste it in your internet browser. Read it carefully. It will answer your questions. Discuss this with your GS's MDs they will determine how many taps are needed.

My parents make less than 40,000K w/ combined incomes with no insurance or medical care. And even though they pay into the WELFARE system are unable to reap from the benefits!!! But I appreciate your concern in this matter!!!!

my dad who makes approx. 35,000k p/y and my mom makes under 3,000k p/y so they are considered to make too much, but not enough for their own insurance or medical care. But I do appreciate your reply!!!

In your situation, I would check with your local social services department to inquire as any state or federal insurance programs your mother might qualify for.
