Weird. Please Answer

21,M

Vision is flawless but i've always wondered what a certain symptom was. When i get tired or a little drowsy, i sometimes put my head down and in 1 or both eyes i will see this yellow color start to appear like its fading in or something. hard to explain. like a blotch of yellow appears.

When i sit up, it goes away. Sometimes also happens when i watch tv. It never seems dangerous or a worrisome problem, just annoying.

Sound familiar?

Not sure what that means. I know when you look at the sun or a light bulb, or see an after image.

this just comes in out of no where. Like a twilight yellow appearance during television or sleep attempt.

Like you said, it's probably nothing. And yes, i do suffer from Irritible bowel disease so I do get malnourished at times.

I'm not sure what you are noticing except a normal retinal after image that you can still see with your eyes closed.  As the retinal photoreceptors recover, the after image fades.  Make sure you are on a good multivitamin so you have enough vitamin A for your retina.  Just a thought.
