Blue tint in white of the eye

I have always had bluish tint in the white of my eyes. I am 28. I have three daughters who have the same bluish tint in their eyes. I also noticed my sisters have the same tint to their whites of their eyes.  I have heard this may be related to some collagen diseases. Could this tint be genetic?

i know what this is! i have this blue tint also and it is a collagen disease! i have osteogenesis imperfecta a condition where i have a defect in making a type of collagen. this makes me a higher risk of fracturing my bones. it is genetic and a blue tint is a symptom. its not anything to worry about just as long as your careful not to fracture your bones!!
