Can There be a Connection Between Lazy Eye and Grave's Ophthamology?

I had two surgeries to correct a lazy eye when I was three and five years old. My mother said she noticed something wrong with my eyes and she elected to have the surgeries performed (the first one didn't take) on the advice of a surgeon. I am now 33 years old and potentially looking at a thyroid related diagnoses and have been having trouble with my eyes again. I have heard of people being misdiagnosed with lazy eye when they actually had Grave's. Has anyone else heard of this???

So it's only an adult condition?  Not clear on your short answer. Are you saying that if I develop Grave's ophthalmology now, it's a coincidence? My family is full of thyroid and endocrine related disorders? Thanks.

Not in your case.  This for "lazy eye" at an older age.
