Can compensation be achieved with one eye long & one eye near vision?

Hi again Dr. H, at one time you posted a link where someone had resolved this problem somehow. I'm stuck with a wrong refractory result in right eye cataract oil implant and now there's a big difference between my eyes. current RX: Sphere R-+1.75, L-+1.00, Cylinder R: -;75, L: -2.00, Axis: R-95,L-90. My surgery was in February 2016 but a corneal abrasion in april prevented my seeking real help till May/June. I'm now told too much time elapsed since surgery for a safe IOL exchange given a macular pucker I also have in that eye & map dot dystrophy making the corneal surface uneven. Meanwhile I've been coping by great magnification on my computer but reading print hard copy or un-enlarged computer print still a problem.I've decided against cataract surgery for my left eye, as that would take away my near vision entirely.Or I'd have to cope with mono vision-I'm a graphic artist so that may be a problem. My question right now is this: at one time Dr H, you posted a name for the condition where one eye is far and the other near and how to resolve this== with glasses? Or? Can't remember or find the link. Would you mind posting any comments including that link? Many thanks!

Thank you Dr. Hagan for your quick reply. I'm at my wits end about my vision difficulties as my workplace has gone to a 9 point font program with poor contrast. You asked what is my vision like with the glasses and what happens is it seems okay for 10 minutes or so, and then it improves only w hen I take them off. I have to get a doctor's note for work to try and get a larger monitor so I can keep my job. It would be of great interest to me to read JodiJ's posts you have spoken of. Can you send me a link or how do I find them?

Would you confirm this is your glasses RX   RE +1.75 (sphere) -0.75 (cylinder) at 95 degree (axis) and LE +1.00 -2.00 axis 90 degree?     What is your vision with this RX?

The name for an unequal refractive error is "aneisometrophia" and the resultant different in image size is "aneisokonia"   there are many posts by JodiJ on this.

She had a macular pucker also and its likely that is a big part of the problem as many people can adjust to the glasses RX you posted.
