Can eye exercises be harmful?

Are there any eye exercises or eye movements that can harm your vision?

Currently I have distortions in my peripheral vision that enlarge/worsen based upon my eye movement and position.

Brief recap: I have been to multiple opthamologists(retinal, neuro, regular) who could not explain my symptoms.

These distortions are at fixed points, do not float and look like slightly warped, shiny glass. My eye pressure is fine, glaucoma has been ruled out though they say I'm to be watched for it.

The retinal doc. did say I have some vitreous syneresis.

Would it be possible that I'm seeing this liquefied vitreous?

And would eye exercises help or be potentially harmful?

There are no eye exercises that would help that problem;  what people do to their eyes and call exercise could be harmful (examples rubbing hard, pushing on eye, etc)

No, nothing like that. Just eye movements, eye focusing exercises.

Is it possible to damage your eyesight by holding your eyes wide and to 1 side for a fixed period(15 seconds)? Repeating this at intervals, etc.

No but it is a waste of time. The extraocular muscles that move the eye have 100 times more strength needed to move the eye. Better work on your arm, leg, chest and abdominal muscles.
My primary reason was because my right eye is slightly misaligned.

I was prescribed glasses with a prism to diminish the ghosting and double vision but the eyes still appear skewed. I guess the glasses just fix the vision and not the appearance.

The exercises won't help your eye but if it makes you happy go right ahead.
