Can numbers be removed?

Hi! I am 22 years old having farsightedness. I first got total -2 number in my eyes at 13. Since then the numbers got increased every year. But in last 3 years my numbers haven't increased. Right now I have -5.5 sph, -0.75 cyl, 70 axis in right eye and -6.25 sph in left eye. I wear glasses only when I work on computer. Can I qualify for LASIK? I know there are some other factors also, but can -11.75 numbers be removed by LASIK? I work 12-16 hours daily on computer. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

-11.75...are you adding your right and left eye prescriptions together? Don't do that, just look at each eye independently. I routinely correct this level of vision with LASIK surgery. An alternative is the Visian ICL for which you can do some research. Your vision is correctable with LASIK.

Sincerely,
