Can you work on a computer if one eye is dilated to control uveits pain?

I currently have anterior uveitis in my right eye. My vision is blurred and painful, but I just started treatment 3 days ago.  My right eye is dialted to control my pain.  Is it okay to go back to work with dual monitors?  Would it damage my eye?

Hi mlynndcats,
I spent months with my eye dilated.  I managed quite well indoors when in a semi dark room, but bright light was annoying.  I resorted to several eye patches.  This was the best one I found.  It has a low profile (which was good under glasses) and is washable.  I am not trying to sell anything, just offering this up based on personal experience.

Of course you need to ask the treating physician but as a generalization computer work would not damage either eye nor slow improvement of the involved eye  JCH MD
