laser surgery

I have had two episodes of bleeding behind the retina since having laser surgery for catarac removal with lens?
and is it dangerous?

I suspect you may have diabetic related bleeding or perhaps a branch or central retinal vein occlusion - just guessing. The laser is fairly easily performed and generally safe and without it you coulf face much worse loss of vision.  Make sure you are seeing a retinal specialist ophthalmologist.

It is difficult from your description to determine what type and exactly where the bleeding is.  I would recommend that you see your eyeMD and ask him/her this question.  Become informed about your condition.
