Chronic Numbness in Right Eye

For the last 5 years, I have had problems with my right eye. The first problem came with a feeling of a slight numbness in or behind the eye. Secondly I noticed that my head would hurt and would not stop. This pain in my head would frequently come from my right eye. I went to the Dr. and they said to go to an eye Dr. I did this and had my right eye's pupil dilated to twice its normal size. The eye Dr. said that there was nothing wrong with the eye and that there was nothing in the back of the eye that he could see. I then went back to the Dr. and told them what the eye specialist had said. The Dr. said that they did not think there was anything to worry about although I still had this feeling of numbness behind the eye and was loosing sight in the eye. Nobody has bothered to do any tests on my head for this problem and I am at my wits end. Other issues that have followed the eye issue are weight gain, diarrhea, and insomnia. All of these issues began 5 years ago and I have yet to find someone who can do something about the problems. Of course, I have not yet found someone who will even attempt to test, which means that I have no idea what is really going on. I don't even know if this is all related or if these are individual issues that can be handled as such. All I know is that, as unbelievable as it sounds, I have had headaches, insomnea, eye numbness, weight gain, and diarrhea for the last five years. I think the only thing that was tried was some stress medication at one point and time, which did nothing for any of the symptoms. Please help me... I would like to live a normal life and really need to find someone to help me figure this out.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I suggest you find the nearest university medical center and start out seeing the general medical department where the doctor can coordinate your care. These centers are used to treating the cases which are a little more complex.
