Clarification

Hello Dr Hagan

Hope you doing well.
We discussed in past,  I see some tiny dots on certain surfaces.  I was advised since its from childhood they are a cause of worry only if suddenly I see them increase in number.  Just confirming such hings should be ignored, isnt it?  And need evaluation only when increased or worsen to rule out retinal detachment. Correct?

Just out of curious mind,  are these because of vitreous liquefaction which starts happening rigjt from childhood and contine throughout life ?
The dots could be floaters but could be entopic phenomena also (blue field effect or flying corpuscle phenomena) See section in wikipedia. com

I read above article and felt probably all eye problems are because of vitreous liquifaction, be it floaters or anything else.

Probably thats the reason I started noticing these floaters or vitreous as early as I was 7-8 years.
You read the article wrong, that's not what it says. ALL eye problems are not due to liquification of the vitreous some are, she lists the most important. Floaters can be present AT BIRTH in some people. The problem is no where near being solved and I doubt a decade from now if it will be possible in a practical way to prevent liquification  (syneresis) in humans.
