I just had the Tecnis ZCB00 installed in my left eye yesterday and the contrast seems incredible--I haven't seen this well in years.  Still getting used to night vision, so I'll reserve judgment for awhile.

You have an excellent IOL, perhaps the best aspheric model.  Unfortunately, the benefits described in the patient education video at www tecnisiol com don't really apply universally.  In order to gain much benefit from an aspheric IOL (as opposed to a spherical IOL), you have to have larger sized pupils and vision near plano.  I have both, and I do think that my aspheric Acrysof IQs boost my night driving ability in a subtle way.  But I'm in my mid-50's now, and pupil size tends to get smaller with aging.  So I probably won't be seeing (literally) this benefit in another decade or two.

If you are happy with the IOL in your eye then its probably the right choice for you. That is if you see well at night and in fog/dim light compared to the eye with the cataract its performing as advertised.  tecnis is a quality company. Go to their website and watch their IOL information film. Its very informative.
