Dr. Feldman,
I'm unsure of how I got the abrasion. Have been having the same discomfort for almost a month. It would feel as though it has gone but then it comes back again a couple of days later. It all started one afternoon I accidentally rubbed my eye and my contact fell out. I was convinced the missing contact had gotten under my lid and was scratching my eye as the pain & watering started within 5 minutes and wouldn't subside even over night. I also have allergies recently related to mold that resulted from a leaking roof; hazards of living in paradise. (Am trying to get this rectified) I was using allergy eye drops in the mornings. Perhaps the mold or the allergy drops is a cause. I don't know. Have a follow up appointment next week with the Dr.hoping this is gone.
Dear BVIGirl,
The acular usually helps with the discomfort of an abrasion. Refresh is a tear drop. How did you obtain the abrasion? You might want to speak with your eyeMD to prescribe an antibiotic drop as well.
