Corneal scarring on both eyes.

Hi there!

I do have small corneal scarring on both eyes post my transPRK surgery last year (2016 May). It does not bother me, my vision is 20/20. But I just would like to get rid of it. I would like to know:

1- What are the benefits of getting rid of it
2- What is my best option? is it the PROKERA® amontic membrane? And for how long does it apprx.

Thank you so much in advance!

Have you ever heard the maxim "Leave well enough alone"  Get over it and move on.  Doing anything could jeopardize your good vision.

So there's no benefit of healing the scars?
So there's no benefit of healing the scars?
Scars are by definition "healed"   Move on to worrying about something else or better yet enjoy the holidays
