Corner of eye is itchy/red - Red ring around color part of eye - WORRIED?!

I noticed the inner corner of my right eye has been itchy. I havn't scratched it because i have a stye in that same eye but it is on the outer corner. The itchiness is in the inner corner in the pink part. The pink part of my right eye where it is itchy is a bit redder than the same part in my left eye. This is worrying me and i can't resist to scratch. I do wear contact lenses. Also, I noticed when i removed my contacts today, in my left eye there is a red/pink ring around the color part of my eye. it is about a millimeter wide. Also, one last thing. Today when i had my contacts in at school i notice i was squinting and my eyes felt tired. Then when i took them out I was fine, except for the itchiness and the pinkish, reddish ring around the color part of my left eye. I am very worried, Please reply ASAP.

Okay, I changed my contacts this morning (before school) and I still had the ring, by lunch, the ring was gone. I'm hoping it won't come back.. It most likely will but, yes it is gone at the moment. Unfortunately i still have the stye. I will continue to use the treatment, and will ask an opinion about all this from my eye doctor at my next oppointment.

Then get a second opinion from a Eye MD ophthalmologist. IN the USA find one near you at www.aao.org

Ok, The ring is still there and the itchiness is in both eyes in both corners. My eye lids, top and bottom are red and i look dead. I did not wear makeup today, which was horrible, i did wear my contacts though. I'm really worried and stressed!

CTL= contact lens

This is a problem for your CTL fitter.

I have switched my solutions way back before summer, because i ran out of the solution i currently use (Complete - in a white bottle with a sky blue color on it and a design sort of like a sun). When i told my eye doctor he said to not switch to what i did use for that short period of time (Renu). I don't think it could be the solution. What do you mean by 'CTL or solutions used on same'?

This is often due to the CTL or solutions used on same. Discuss it with the OD or MD that fit your contact lens.
