Cryotherapy damaged back of eye, is there any treatment for this?

My sister was born with Retinopathy of prematurity, she had cryotherapy to reattach her retinas which left scar tissue. The scar tissue blocks input from photoreceptors to her optic nerve. Recently she has said that her vision is getting worse, I want to know if there is any treatment out there that could help?

The eye would need to be examined by a retina specialist or pediatric ophthalmolgist Eye MD to tell her if any treatment is useful. No way I can tell without seeing the eye.
